Milo Update #2

It's been a good summer. Camping, visiting colleges, taking care of Milo, and most importantly relaxing and crafting. I am getting my stuff ready for the craft fairs that I signed up for this fall. I just haven't been taking pictures.

A big joy this summer is taking care of Milo. Walks, trips to the dog park and snuggling in bed...couldn't ask for anything better. He's growing like crazy and we love him to pieces.

Here are a couple of pictures of our baby with one of his favorite toys...

Hope you guys are having a great summer!

Milo Update

It's been almost six months since we got our Milo and I can definitely say that there's been a lot of changes in our family. Taking care of Milo is now part of our everyday routine. We all take turns (surprising with my two teenage girls, I know!) feeding him, walking him, taking him to the dog park, bathing him, etc. It can be challenging sometimes, but I would never trade it for anything!

Here's Milo when we first got him...

And here he is now...weighing in at almost 70 pounds!!!

He's my little boy, and I love him to pieces! Well, except when he gets into his biting mode and tries to bite everybody in the house. Overall, he's still pretty sweet. Looking forward to the summer when we go camping. I know that that would be an adventure!!!

A New Baby...

Yes, we have a new baby - the canine kind! His name is Milo and he was given to me by a former student. We got him in January when he was about 7 weeks old. Milo is a husky malamute mix so he's going to be a big dog. I was concerned about that when we first got him but not anymore. My family is very much IN LOVE with Milo!

Here is Milo when we first got him....

I would definitely say that Milo is a blessing in our life. We are more active now, taking him for walks, we spend more quality time as a family, and we share the responsibilities of taking care of him. We are all looking forward to many years of doggie walks, doggie kisses and doggie love!!!

Having Milo is affecting my crafting time, because I would rather play with him than spend time in my craft room. I am trying to get things done, however, because I want to be ready for the fall craft fairs. I'm hoping to post pictures of the things I am working on soon!
