New Cards!

I've been on a roll this week making cards like crazy. It's funny that I got my mojo a week before I have to go back to work! Anyway, here are some of the cards I made...

I used an embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers, flowers from Michaels, and the happy birthday stamp and die from My Favorite Things (I think this stamp is discontinued).

Here's another version, using a sticker set from Hobby Lobby.

Another one...

And one more.

Here I used a stamp from Hobby Lobby and a butterfly die from Hot off the Press.

Another stamp from Hobby Lobby...

Here are two of my favorite cards...using a stamp set from Papertrey Ink that I've had forever.

I love quilts, so I had to get this quilt die. It's so versatile and you can come up with endless designs for different occasions.

Finally, I have this card. I am a HUGE minion fan so when I found this paper and stickers I knew I had to make a card. I used the same banner stamp and die from previous cards. Isn't it cute??? :-)

I'm working on other things for my upcoming craft fairs. I'll post them as soon as they can!

Missing the Seahawks...

I miss football. I especially miss watching the Seahawks play. That's why when I saw this card I knew I had to make one with the Seahawks on it.

Can't wait for football season to start!

Spring Craft Fair

Hello everyone! I know, I know...it's been a while, but I'm here. I just finished my first spring craft fair and I would like to share some projects that I did.

I have a lot of succulents at home, and so I decided to package and sell them. I made a basket for each one and decorated each one differently. Gina K Designs has a great, detailed tutorial on how to make these.

I also made these purses which are bigger that the ones I had in previous posts. This uses an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. I found the measurements in Silvey's Craftroom.

I've had these light bulb containers for a while and when I saw this stamp from My Favorite Things, I had a "light bulb" moment (ha!) and decided to put them together. This is the result.

I've seen these key fobs before (I actually use one) and they are so easy to make. All the materials are available at Etsy, and all I had to do was to put them together. They are a best seller! Of course, I have to use ribbons from two of my favourite things...the Seahawks and Starbucks!

Finally, I LOVE these popsicle greeting cards. They take a bit more work than the other items, but I think it's worth it!

Hope you like these projects!!!

A Name Card for Katie

I made yet another name card for my daughter's good friend, Katie. My daughter saw these panda stickers from Hobby Lobby and decided that Katie would like them, so pandas on the card it is.

As always, I use my trusty old Cricut for the letters. Hope Katie likes it!

Another Name Card

One of my daughter's best friends celebrated her birthday and I decided to make her a name card. Paige, my daughter's friend, is very passionate about ballet so I used that theme for her card.

Here's the front of the card:

When you open it up, it shows her whole name.

As usual, I used my trusty Cricut for the letters, cardstock and stickers from Joann's and Hobby Lobby.

More Cards

This weekend I made four different occasion cards. The first two are pretty simple - I used a Cuttlebug folder for the background, a stamp, and the Martha Stewart punch for the border in the bottom.

Here's another version...

Then I CASE'd (is that the right term?) these two cards from the Papertrey Ink Gallery. I've had the Blooming Button Bits Stamp for a while now and I have been wanting to use it.

I used buttons for this one...

...and a purple flower for this one.

Have a wonderful rest of the week, everyone!

Birthday Cards

I was able to finish two birthday cards this weekend. I used the same card sketch but different papers. Love mixing and matching different colors and patterns.

Used paper from Michael's, cardstock, bling and a couple of Cuttlebug dies. I also did some stitching. It's something that I would like to do more this year.

Have a great week everyone!

Robot Cards

I must admit I don't make a lot of cards (or other items) for boys, but when I saw these stickers at the Dollar Store, I knew I had to use them. They are so cute!

I used regular cardstock for the cards, then silver paper that I embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. I stamped a happy birthday greeting and added a couple of brads for a little bit more detail. Love them!!!

More name cards...

Here are two other name cards that I've done for my daughters' friends. It has become sort of a tradition for me to make these cards for their friends.

Here's one for Ashley......

...and one for Ali.

I love playing with patterns and colors for these cards. of course, I couldn't create all these letters without my trusty Cricut machine. That machine is so useful for projects like these!

Another Hello Kitty card...

Here's another Hello Kitty card that I made for one of my daughter's friends. It's a fairly simple one using a HK sticker, my Martha Stewart punches,Spellbinder dies, red cardstock, red polka dot paper and some bling. Love it!!!

Name Card and Purse

I know...it's been a while since I posted. There's just been a lot going on at home and at work so it's hard to find time to update my blog. I am hoping that with summer coming I can post more regularly.

Anyway about a month ago I made a card for one of my daughter's friends, Ella. Ella loves hot pink and a lot of bling so I decided to use those for her card. I think the accent of the zebra print worked as well.

Here's another picture...

Then I REALLY got into it and created this purse to put the card in. I got the idea from this video from Youtube.

This is not usually my style but I must say that I had a lot of fun creating these projects.

Till next time!!!

Birthday Card

A simple birthday card with an adorable lizard (or gecko? not quite sure...).
